Therapy From Anywhere
Online therapy–or Teletherapy–gives you the freedom and flexibility to engage in therapy without being limited to a physical office space. All sessions are conducted within a HIPAA secure platform to ensure that no one else has access to your therapy session or information.
Some clients choose fully online therapy, while others prefer a hybrid of online therapy and in-person therapy depending on schedules and lifestyle. Either way, you can take comfort in knowing that you can continue to receive the benefits of therapy on a regular basis whether you’re in-town or not.
How Online Therapy Works
Once schedule your online therapy session, you’ll receive a link that you will click to join the session. You can use your laptop or phone. I always recommend that you have a decent pair or headphones or earbuds for privacy and optimal audio quality. It’s also helpful to be sure that your signal is strong and that you are in a place where you feel comfortable and secure.
You’ll receive an appointment reminder shortly before session. Simply use the previously supplied link to access your session and your therapist will meet you in the virtual office. Sessions are not recorded and unlike other platforms, no one can access your session but you and your therapist.
