Ready to Book Your First Therapy Session?
Picture becoming a better version of yourself.
Starting to shed old habits and beliefs, and replacing them with ones you feel good about.
Imagine breaking free of the things that hold you back and starting to live the life you wanted.
These changes are realistic with the right therapeutic relationship and your commitment to the process.
If you like what you've read so far and think that I might be the therapist for you, let's talk. I offer prospective clients a complementary 15-minute phone consultation that gives us the opportunity to break the ice, so to speak. I'll gain a better understand of your situation and goals, and you'll gather a sense of my personality and how I work. At that point, you may schedule your initial therapy appointment.
Please note the following policies to be sure that working together is a feasible solution for you.
To provide my clients with the best possible care, I have chosen not to contract with any insurance panels. In order for insurance companies to agree to cover the costs of your therapy, they call the shots on your clinical treatment. They decide the length of your treatment, frequency of sessions, and they require a mental health diagnosis to decide whether they will pay for your therapy, or not.
This means that your therapist must assign you a diagnosis that your insurance company will cover even if you don't really need a diagnosis. Bypassing insurance allows the utmost flexibility and privacy for my clients.
If you have out of network mental health benefits and would like to use them, I can walk you through the process. Your session fee will be paid in full to me and I will give you the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance provider. They will reimburse you directly. Typically, out of network benefits cover between 50-80% of the session fee.

Call or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to schedule a call more urgently and all efforts will be made to accommodate your request.
During your phone consultation, we'll discuss your needs and goals and make sure we're a good fit. At that point, we'll schedule your first appointment.
Our initial therapy session will be about and hour and 15 minutes-- a little longer than usual--so that I can take the time learn more about you and what you'd like to accomplish in counseling. Based on my observations, and your input, we'll create a plan and set some initial goals.
We'll meet for a session at least once per week and begin working toward your goals. You'll begin to gain a stronger understanding of your thoughts and behaviors and learn new ways to manage them. You'll engage in outside activities to support the work we do in session. We'll continually assess your progress to be sure we're on track.
