Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step.
New Client Inquiries
Picture becoming a better version of yourself. Starting to shed old habits and beliefs, and replacing them with ones you feel good about. Imagine breaking free of the things that hold you back and starting to live the life you wanted. These changes are realistic with the right therapeutic relationship and your commitment to the process.
If you’re reading this page, chances are that you’ve been thinking about change, and are considering taking it to the next level by working with a professional. I genuinely commend your willingness to explore your options and I’m thankful for your consideration.
The Clients I Work With
My clients are high-functioning, motivated individuals who seek counseling because they have the desire to improve their lives. I work with clients who seek more than a passive listening type of therapy that drones on week after week without facilitating any change. Clients come to me because they want to better understand their struggles–and to work to overcome the things that hold them back. Together, we create goals and work toward achieving them.
Therapy requires an investment and commitment–personal and financial–in order for it to work.
You’re making a commitment to yourself to learn, heal, grow and change. Therapy has the potential to profoundly change your life if you are willing to make the investment and commitment.
Please note the following policies to be sure that working together is a feasible solution for you.

I do not participate on any insurance panels and am considered an out-of-network provider.
To provide my clients with the best possible care, I have chosen not to contract with any insurance panels. In order for insurance companies to agree to cover the costs of your therapy, they call the shots on your clinical treatment. They decide the length of your treatment, frequency of sessions, and they require a mental health diagnosis to decide whether they will pay for your therapy, or not. This means that your therapist must assign you a diagnosis that your insurance company will cover even if you don’t really need a diagnosis.
Bypassing insurance allows the utmost flexibility and privacy for my clients.
Requesting a Consultation or Appointment
If you like what you’ve read so far and think that I might be the therapist for you, let’s talk. I offer prospective clients a free initial 15 minute phone consultation gives us the opportunity to break the ice, so to speak. You will gather a sense of my personality and how I work, and I will gain a better understand of your situation and goals. It’s important that it’s a good fit as I only accept clients that I believe I can help. My clients typically begin to see some positive results quickly and find a great deal of value in working with me.
Potential new clients must begin by scheduling an initial phone consultation.
You are welcome to submit an appointment request online, but our appointment will not be confirmed until we’ve completed our initial consultation and the necessary paperwork has been completed.
If you do not show up for your scheduled session, or give a 24 hour notice of cancellation, you will be billed the full session fee.
